Privacy notice

1. Who we are

This website, cryptodigital.io (the "Site"), is operated by Facto Global LLC ("Crypto Digital", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us about privacy at info@cryptodigital.io.

2. What we collect

Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to tell us, the coins you would like tracked. We also record the time you joined and your IP address, to prevent abuse of the form.
Analytics. We use a third-party analytics service to count visits. It records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, and whether you joined the waitlist. It uses cookies and similar identifiers. Where the law requires your consent, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set unless you allow them.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data for each request, such as IP address, time, page requested and browser type, to operate and secure the Site.
Chart and headlines for members. The members' dashboard shows a live price chart and market headlines supplied by a market-data provider. When the dashboard loads them, your browser connects directly to that provider, which receives the address of the page and your IP address. The provider states that its chart and headlines set no cookies. We do not send it your email address or any account details.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, wallet addresses, exchange credentials, account balances or funds.

3. Why we use it

To run the waitlist: to tell you when Crypto Digital opens and to understand which coins people want covered. Our legal basis is your consent.
To understand interest in the Site: through analytics. Our legal basis is your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in knowing how the Site is used.
To keep the Site working and secure: through server logs and the IP address recorded with each signup. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and keeping automated abuse out of the waitlist.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Who processes it for us

Our hosting provider hosts the Site, stores the waitlist and keeps server logs.
Our analytics provider provides the analytics described above.
Our email delivery provider delivers a signup to us by email only if it cannot be saved on our server, so that it is not lost.
Our market-data provider supplies the live chart and headlines on the members' dashboard, as described above.

We use each of them only for the purpose described, and they process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not name them here because we may change them. Write to info@cryptodigital.io and we will tell you who they are. Some of this processing may take place outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on the transfer safeguards these providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

Waitlist details: until you ask us to remove them, and no later than 12 months after Crypto Digital opens or we close the waitlist.
Analytics event data: 14 months.
Server logs: for the limited period set by our hosting provider.

6. Your choices and rights

Leave the waitlist at any time by writing to info@cryptodigital.io.
Change your analytics choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you may ask for access to, correction or erasure of your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you live in a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, including California, you may ask to know, access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Send requests to info@cryptodigital.io. We may need to confirm that a request comes from you before acting on it.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a minor has joined the waitlist, write to us and we will delete those details.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The effective date at the head of the page shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use waitlist details, we will tell people on the waitlist before it applies to them.
